Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman marked their shared birthday month with a grand flower-themed cake and the director of Deadpool & Wolverine, Shawn Levy, in attendance. For over a decade, these two have been cherished friends, and their recent collaboration in the latest Marvel production has shattered multiple box office records, raking in millions.

On their social media platforms, the Hollywood stars shared a photo featuring them flanking a birthday cake. The actor from “Logan” is set to celebrate his 56th birthday on October 12, and “Reynolds” is due to turn 48 on October 23.

Shawn Levy, who came in later, also stood together with the other two against a rustic backdrop. He captioned his post, “October is the ideal month for buddy birthdays🎂 It was a wonderful autumn day celebrating early with two of the BEST❤️💛.

Regarding the trio, Jackman and Reynolds have been long-time friends, but Jackman has known Levy for even longer than he’s known the latter. In an interview with People Magazine, the director shared that Jackman had said, “In essence, if you ever collaborate with Ryan Reynolds, it will be a lasting relationship.

He further added, “Ryan and I have become extremely close friends,” noting that they often hang out together, considering the duo lives only half a block away.

More recently, it was seen that Levy, along with the stars from Marvel, were present together with Taylor Swift at the Jets-Chiefs game last year. Interestingly, the award-winning artist also shared a picture featuring Jackman and Reynolds after their box office hit Marvel film.

Simultaneously in his professional life, Reynolds was contributing as a writer for significant rooftop scenes in It Ends With Us, featuring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Additionally, the small screen premiered Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Reynolds and Jackman, on October 1, allowing fans to relax and enjoy this outstanding production.
