Two Big Film Series Set for Video Game Adaptations

Lionsgate announced that a video game inspired by the John Wick films is currently being developed.

During a recent earnings call in November, Adam Fogelson of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group announced that the company is actively developing several video games based on its popular movies.

In a conversation with Tech4Gamers, Fogelson mentioned upcoming AAA game opportunities based on properties like John Wick and Saw, with more announcements expected soon. He also stated that development is on track and Lionsgate is seeing increasing demand for video games based on its movie franchises.

The John Wick movies, starring Keanu Reeves, are a thrilling action series centered around a former assassin who’s forced back into a life of crime. The films are beloved by fans for their incredible fight choreography, fast-paced action, and striking visual style.

I remember when they first dipped their toes into gaming with John Wick Hex back in 2019 – it was a cool tactical RPG that told a story before the movies. But wow, this new game sounds like a whole different level! It’s going to be a massive, AAA title, which is incredibly exciting as a fan.
