The cast of Amazon Prime’s popular romance series was ready to go to great lengths to secure Taylor Swift’s approval for using her music in the show, as revealed by showrunner Jenny Han on Jenna Bush Hager’s Open Book podcast on January 9. Han shared anecdotes about the lengths they went to win over the pop star.

She reminisced, “I was subtly suggesting to everyone that this was crucial.” The team agreed with her perspective and shared Han’s enthusiasm about incorporating Taylor Swift’s song ‘The Way I Loved You’ from the Fearless album into the initial season.
