Last year, when I was going through my challenging battle with cancer, my medical treatments understandably impacted my personal life significantly. On a chilly January day, as a token of gratitude and to express my heartfelt appreciation, I made an unexpected visit to the staff at the hospital that played such a crucial role in my care throughout that difficult period – January 14th was the special day.
During my visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, I was bombarded with queries about my health and personal life from both the dedicated staff and patients. As The Daily Mirror reported, one of the staff members commended me for expertly juggling my roles as mother to Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9), and Prince Louis (6) amidst trying times.
Middleton stated, ‘I’m simply aiming for the best.’ She continued, ‘One might assume treatment is over, but moving forward with regular duties… remains quite difficult,’ she emphasized. She also disclosed that the side effects from the rigorous medical procedures require a great deal of understanding and perseverance.
During a different chat, Middleton talked with Ruth Bosworth – present at the hospital as her husband Richard underwent treatment – and pondered over the repetitive phases of her own treatment. “Occasionally, you might feel somewhat better, only to encounter another setback,” she confessed.
