Trump’s Digital Masterplan 🤔

President Trump, in a move that surely surprised no one, has announced his grand vision for a US Crypto Strategic Reserve. He declared, with the gravitas of a seasoned politician who just discovered the internet, that this reserve would include XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA).

Apparently, this is all happening because of some executive order signed today, which, according to the announcement, instructs the Digital Assets Working Group to get this whole crypto reserve thing going.

US to Have a National Crypto Reserve with XRP, ADA, and SOL

Oh, the anticipation! For months we’ve all been waiting with bated breath for a national Bitcoin reserve. But alas, our beloved Satoshi’s creation hasn’t been chosen. Instead, President Trump, in a move that could only be described as “unexpected” (said no one ever), has decided to prioritize “US made cryptocurrencies.”

He blames the Biden administration for all the “corrupt attacks” on the cryptocurrency industry. You know, because nothing says “corrupt” like a bunch of nerds arguing about blockchain technology. The man’s got a point, though, nobody wants their crypto stolen by the deep state 🤪.

“A US Crypto Reserve will elevate this critical industry after years of corrupt attacks by the Biden Administration, which is why my Executive Order on Digital Assets directed the Presidential Working Group to move forward on a Crypto Strategic Reserve that includes XRP, SOL, and ADA. I will make sure the US is the Crypto Capital of the World,” President Trump posted on Truth Social.

This whole thing apparently builds on some executive order signed earlier this year called Executive Order 14178. This order created the Presidential Working Group on Digital Asset Markets, led by David Sacks, a venture capitalist who probably still thinks Y2K was a threat. Their job? To figure out how the government can play in the world of digital assets, including the possibility of a government-held cryptocurrency reserve.

So, while everyone was expecting Bitcoin to be the star of the show, Trump’s decision to go with XRP, SOL, and ADA suggests a more… eclectic approach. Maybe he just likes the sound of their names? Who knows!
