Trump Calls Out Seth Meyers, Claims Late-Night Host Is “100% Anti-Trump” and That is “Probably Illegal”

President Trump has criticized late-night talk show host Seth Meyers on NBC, continuing his pattern of targeting similar television personalities.

I was really disappointed to see Trump attack Seth Meyers after Seth did a funny bit on his show, A Closer Look. It was about Trump’s comments regarding the steam catapults they use on aircraft carriers, and honestly, the President should be able to take a joke. It feels like a real overreaction.

Here’s a clip from Seth Meyers that Donald Trump is very upset about. In it, Seth sharply criticizes Trump’s recent, bizarre claims about steam-powered catapults. Trump is desperately trying to suppress this video, so please don’t share it!

On Truth Social, Donald Trump criticized Seth Meyers, calling him potentially the least talented and worst performer in television history. Trump said he recently watched Meyers’ show for the first time in years and described the performance as rambling and ‘deranged.’ He also claimed Meyers has no talent, low ratings, and is unfairly biased against him, suggesting this bias might be illegal.

The president also seemed confused about how late-night shows are made, incorrectly stating that Seth Meyers’ show is broadcast live. Actually, Late Night with Seth Meyers is recorded ahead of time.

This isn’t the first time Trump has publicly criticized Meyers. He previously called Meyers “marble mouth” earlier this year and labeled him a “dope” just last month.

It feels like we’re seeing this all over again! Just a month ago, he went after Jimmy Kimmel, and honestly, it backfired – ratings for Jimmy Kimmel Live! actually went up when Jimmy came back. I think this whole thing will end up helping the person he’s attacking too, it’s just how these things usually play out.

As a movie and TV buff, I’ve been watching this back-and-forth between Trump and late-night comedians for years, and it’s become a real pattern. They constantly poke fun at what he says and does, and he definitely doesn’t like it – it’s a constant source of friction, honestly. It really shows how much tension there is between him and those who use their platforms to satirize him.
