‘Truly Devastating’: Chris Pratt Reveals His Home Was ‘Miraculously’ Spared From LA Wildfires; Gives Update on Ex Anna Faris’ Home

Chris Pratt expressed gratitude that his house in the Palisades somehow survived the Los Angeles wildfires. On Wednesday, January 22nd, the actor posted a video on Instagram showing him coming back to his home, which he had to leave due to the wildfire danger.

He shared that he was heading over to his home to assess its condition, remarking that it was a miracle it hadn’t collapsed after the Palisades incident. Thankfully, it still had four walls and a roof, he noted with gratitude. In the videos, he also expressed his sorrow, calling the destruction in the community heartbreaking, being the first time he visited since the disaster struck.

Despite finding a glimmer of hope with his home being spared from the wildfire, Pratt couldn’t help but feel sorrow for the numerous homes and public buildings that were devastated. He shared his sentiments, stating that the community he resided in no longer existed, as well as his son’s school.

He added that the house of his son’s mother or former spouse, Anna Faris, was destroyed by fire in the blaze. Pratt, who tied the knot with Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019, has a 12-year-old son named Jack with his ex-wife, Faris.

Back in 2009, I was lucky enough to exchange vows with a wonderful woman. Unfortunately, we went our separate ways in 2018. Recently, my representative shared some news with People magazine: my ex-wife and her family are all safe, and we’re incredibly thankful for that.

In the same vein, I felt compelled to share another matter close to my heart. Sadly, many of my friends have lost their homes due to a devastating fire. I wanted to extend my deepest sympathies and support to them during this difficult time.

He ended the message on an optimistic tone, stating, “We’re strong. We have faith in God, and view this as a blessing.” Additionally, he acknowledged the kindness of well-wishers in their prayers and support. He also expressed that it was uplifting to observe communities standing united during such times.

1) In the video, he didn’t finish without assuring that he would provide additional information once it is obtained. The California Fire Department declared that the Pacific Palisades Fire was the most devastating fire in the city’s history, scorching over 23,400 acres of land.
