TRON: ARES Trailer Brings the Digital World to Real Life for Mind-Blowing Action

Tron has significantly evolved since its debut in 1982, particularly in terms of plot and visual effects. This isn’t a criticism, but rather an observation. I still hold the original film dear to my heart. However, it’s challenging not to notice the stark contrast between this third chapter in the series and the movie that sparked it all. The new release, Tron: Ares, boasts a streamlined, contemporary look and a significantly larger narrative scope.

Despite the shift, the show hasn’t abandoned its science fiction essence. The artificial intelligence portrayed in this film is undeniably a product of imagination, as it functions flawlessly – a trait not found in real-world AI.

Apart from his return, Jeff Bridges is significantly involved in the narrative of Jared Leto’s character, Ares. The trailer hints at a substantial role for Bridges in this storyline.

I’m thrilled to share that the music for the latest Tron installment, “Tron: Ares,” originates from Nine Inch Nails. Alongside this freshly unveiled trailer for the film, the band has dropped a brand-new track they composed specifically for it – “As Alive As You Need Me To Be.” This isn’t just the first single off the movie’s soundtrack, but it also signifies their first official release in five years.

Joachim Rønning, director of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” is also joined by an impressive cast for the sequel, which includes Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, and Gillian Anderson.

Or simply: Joachim Rønning’s follow-up to “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” boasts an ensemble cast that includes Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, and Gillian Anderson.

Exploring the implications of creating realistic AI beings is an intriguing question, and we’ll get a glimpse of it as the movie “Tron: Ares” hits cinemas on October 10, 2025.
