Are Taylor Swift and Blake Lively friends again? For a while, rumors circulated about a falling out between the two, supposedly stemming from Blake Lively’s disagreement with Justin Baldoni during the making of their film, *It Ends With Us*. However, it seems they’ve resolved their issues. Confirmation came from Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during an appearance on his brother Jason’s podcast, *New Heights*. Jason referred to Blake as ‘our friend,’ and Travis admitted they might be biased towards her, clearly indicating they are still close.
Travis Kelce’s words hint at a rekindled friendship between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively
During a conversation about the 2005 film *The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants*, Travis Kelce praised Blake Lively’s performance. Host Jason noted it was Lively’s first movie role, saying she was “absolutely wonderful” as the character Bridget. Kelce agreed, adding that he found Bridget’s storyline to be the most relatable and enjoyable of the film.
The older brother continued talking about Bridget, describing her as tall, strong, confident, and beautiful, as well as athletic. Jason then admitted that her running wasn’t great, playfully telling Blake, “I love you, but she doesn’t seem like a star athlete.”
As a dedicated fan, I have to admit, a lot of us were scratching our heads over this recent video chat. It was filmed over a year ago, and we were all wondering why it was suddenly being released right before Taylor’s new album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, came out. There’s a song on the album called ‘Cancelled,’ and the rumor mill is going wild, suggesting it’s about Taylor and Blake Lively’s strained relationship and how they’ve grown apart. It was a huge relief to see Blake recently liked a post about the album – it feels like a signal that their friendship is back on track, and a lovely way to show her support!
