As a die-hard MCU fan who’s been following this universe since its inception, I must say, the cat’s out of the bag (or should I say, the secret’s out of the hex) regarding Joe Locke’s character in “Agatha All Along.” While Marvel has always been masterful at keeping secrets, their latest move seems more like a clumsy fumble than a strategic reveal.

Titled “Agatha All Along“, this upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series is a spin-off from the popular show WandaVision. Previously known by various names, we’re surprised it finally settled on one. Set to debut on Disney+ on September 18, 2024, the series will premiere with two episodes. The following seven episodes will be released weekly until November 6, wrapping up the series.

Currently, it’s clear that Kathryn Hahn will once again embody the character of Agatha Harkness, following her appearance in WandaVision. We can expect to encounter other notable Marvel Cinatic Universe characters, some of which we have previously discussed in our speculative reports. However, one character that has sparked curiosity among fans since his confirmation is Joe Locke’s teen character.

Essentially, Marvel has been tight-lipped about the young character’s real identity, although many fans have guessed who he might be portraying. However, Marvel chose not to address these speculations. Interestingly, the subtitles for the latest trailer may have accidentally revealed his true identity. If it wasn’t a deliberate, misleading leak, Marvel appears to have made an unprecedented mistake by exposing a secret in such an unwise manner. It seems that, as many fans speculated, Locke is indeed portraying the character Billy Kaplan/Billy Maximoff/Wiccan in the series. This could pave the way for other members of the Maximoff family to make an appearance.

It’s unclear whether it was planned or not, but it appears that a secret has been accidentally revealed, and Marvel will now need to face the potential repercussions.
