Compared to the Rasengans used by other characters, his was slightly bigger. The unique aspect of this technique is that Minato didn’t need extensive preparations before using it, which made it more advantageous for him against other users.

As a passionate movie-goer, I’d rephrase that action scene like this: During the intense showdown against Tobi, I managed to create a powerful Rasengan by tossing a marked kunai at him first.
