The main character is a young boy named Jacob Newsome, played by Jacob Tremblay. Since birth, he has been kept in a single room with his mother. He knows nothing about the world outside those walls. As the child’s curiosity grows, so does the story, with his mother, portrayed by Academy Award winner Brie Larson, having to explain the mysteries of life beyond Room. Larson received an Oscar for her compelling performance in this role.
Star Trek Beyond
Justin Lin’s “Star Trek Beyond” boasts an impressive 86% Tomatometer rating and 80% positive feedback from audiences. Even without J.J. Abrams, the third installment doesn’t fall short of expectations, as Lin has skillfully continued the franchise’s legacy.
