Here’s the official synopsis for Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft:

The animated show “Tomb Raider: Lara Croft’s Legend” follows on from the popular Tomb Raider video game trilogy (consisting of “Tomb Raider,” “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” and “Shadow of the Tomb Raider”). This series will depict the further adventures of Lara Croft, our renowned explorer, as she delves into new mysteries and reveals hidden secrets in awe-inspiring yet perilous locations. Hayley Atwell gives voice to Lara Croft, a character who has been captivating audiences for more than 25 years.

Hayley Atwell will star alongside Allen Maldonado (Zip) and Earl Baylon, reprising his role as Jonah from the Tomb Raider video games, in Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft. After parting ways with her companions following the Survivor trilogy, Lara Croft embarks on another round of solo escapades. However, it’s no surprise that Lara Croft’s life remains eventful. When a potent Chinese artifact goes missing from Croft Manor, Lara is compelled to track down the culprit and recover the stolen item. It won’t be long before she uncovers the fact that the thief has connections to her personal life. (Isn’t it always the case?) Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft premieres on Netflix on October 10.
