Actor Tom Holland (from the movie Cherry) has shared his feelings after getting a call from Christopher Nolan, the filmmaker behind Inception, which brings him back to when he was cast as Spider-Man within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
On Good Morning America, during an interview, the actor from Chaos Walking referred to the conversation as “the call I’d been waiting for my whole life.” During the October 23, 2024 discussion, Tom Holland added that this call brought back memories of the phone call he received a decade earlier about playing Spider-Man in the Marvel Studios movies.
“It’s an amazing thing for me. I’m super proud and I’m really, really excited,” he added.
Despite Holland often being criticized for negatively impacting movies, he did not share similar sentiments when discussing the director of The Dark Knight Rises’ upcoming venture.
Despite the GMA host’s attempts to coax some details out of the Uncharted actor, he merely expressed his excitement about collaborating with Christopher Nolan and showed respect for The Prestige director.
Additionally, Christopher Nolan, known for his innovative and unpredictable directing style, will also team up with Matt Damon in this project, with Holland as well.
The untitled project will be released in IMAX and is slated to hit the screens on July 17.
