The movie follows Digger Rockwell, played by Tom Cruise, a man known as “the most powerful in the world.” He races against time to redeem himself and save everyone from a disaster he accidentally started. Expect a wild ride filled with chaos, laughs, and huge catastrophes – the filmmakers are calling it a hilariously epic disaster movie.
Filming for the movie Digger started on November 7, 2024, in the UK. Renowned cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki was in charge of the visuals, and the film was shot on 35mm film using the VistaVision format.
Filming was briefly paused in March after John Goodman had a small hip injury, but thankfully, production finished on May 3rd.
