On Saturday, designer Todd Snyder hosted a presentation at his New York headquarters called “La Buena Vida” (meaning “The Good Life” in Spanish). The Spring 2026 collection was inspired by the relaxed and stylish clothing of men in Havana, Cuba.

This collection isn’t about a specific place, but rather a feeling. It’s inspired by the classic, slightly worn elegance of 1950s Havana combined with the confident, relaxed style of someone arriving in 1980s Miami by seaplane, as explained by Snyder, who recently visited Havana with his family.

The designer’s collection of 44 looks showcased a clear vision, featuring pieces like soft linen Ricky jackets, relaxed formal sets, high-waisted Hollywood pants, and elegant suits. Throughout the line, wide, patterned ties – inspired by the styles of the 1950s and 80s – were a key detail. Lounge shirts offered a more casual feel, decorated with flamenco dots and stripes reminiscent of vintage umbrellas.

Zack Snyder and his team moved casually around the warmly lit set, wearing comfortable shoes like loafers and sandals. Those who looked closely would have noticed they were wearing new Timex watches – a re-release of a 1976 model and an updated version of the classic Marlin.

He explained that the clothes create a fascinating contrast – they combine the crisp, defined lines of traditional tailoring with flowing, feminine shapes.
