In the latest episode of To Be Hero X, titled ‘One Actor,’ we find ourselves following Yang Cheng, a man who was once orphaned by thieves but saved by E-Soul. Now an adult, he’s employed as an actor on the E-Soul stage and nurtures secret feelings for Xia Qing. When tasked with entertaining her brother Pomelo, Cheng forms a connection with the child during their training for E-Soul’s hero tribute event.
Following the lack of trust, Pomelo is abducted. Cheng manages to save him at great personal risk, even brushing with death, which ultimately reveals hidden abilities within him. Touched by this act, Pomelo awards Cheng his initial Trust Value. Later, a judge expresses admiration for Cheng’s deeds.
Episode 6 of “To Be Hero X” will depict Yang Cheng winning public approval following the widespread dissemination of his video rescuing Pomelo, garnering over a million likes. As more people start to view him as the authentic E-Soul, he embarks on his heroic journey with the assistance of Xia Qing and Shang Zhao.
In contrast, there seems to be doubt about the kidnapping. At the same time, the original E-Soul, as shown in the sneak peek, senses Cheng’s rising popularity and feels apprehensive. The upcoming episode is expected to delve into the strained relationship between the two E-Souls and the consequences of Cheng’s swift rise.
On the official site, it’s stated that Episode 6 of To Be Hero X, titled ‘The Two Souls,’ is set to air in Japan on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at 9:30 am JST. Due to time zone differences, some international viewers may be able to catch it as early as May 10.
