Grimlore Games and THQ Nordic are thrilled with the initial release of Titan Quest 2 on Early Access: Over 300,000 units of the game were purchased within just two and a half days.
Last week’s THQ Nordic Showcase saw the unexpected release of an Action Role-Playing Game, deeply rooted in Ancient Greek mythology and set in that era, on PC through Steam.
On its debut weekend, the game saw over 27,000 simultaneous players, making it the second-highest concurrent user count (CCU) record for the publisher on Steam to date. Furthermore, early reviews of the game have been overwhelmingly positive: Over 5,700 users have shared their thoughts, with the majority rating it as “Very Positive.
Titan Quest 2 shares resemblance with games like Diablo, Path of Exile, and Last Epoch, but offers players an enhanced level of character ability customization – a feature that was a defining aspect of the original game, and one that the Munich-based developer has carried over into the sequel.
