Timothée Chalamet returns as Paul Atreides

Timothée Chalamet will return as Paul Atreides in Dune: Part Three, scheduled for release on December 18, 2026.

The film is launching into a big competition at the box office, opening at the same time as Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.

Denis Villeneuve is back to direct the next installment in the sci-fi series, continuing Warner Bros.’ adaptation of Frank Herbert’s classic novel.

Dune: Part Three cast includes familiar faces and new additions

Okay, so the buzz about Dune: Part Three is getting me really excited! From what I’m hearing, we can expect most of the original cast back – Timothée Chalamet is obviously still leading things. But it sounds like Rebecca Ferguson will return as Lady Jessica, and we’ll see Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, which I’m so looking forward to. Zendaya as Chani and Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho are also reportedly coming back, thankfully! Plus, Florence Pugh is joining as Princess Irulan and Robert Pattinson as Scytale – what a lineup! And it’s great to hear Javier Bardem will reprise Stilgar, and Ida Brooke is also on board as Ghanima. It’s shaping up to be epic!

The actors involved show that Villeneuve is significantly growing the story, bringing back familiar faces and introducing important new characters from the future of the Dune series.
