2025 saw the passing of the Golden Globes, an evening filled with intrigue! Admittedly, I’m not typically engrossed in the Golden Globes festivities, but this year was different. The event’s red carpet offered a dash of Hollywood’s unique flavor that I couldn’t resist. Remarkably, two prominent celebrities managed to make their mark without exerting extra effort. Doppelgangers crowned as Glen Powell and Timothée Chalamet look-alikes were invited to the gala, adding an exciting twist. Although it must have been a thrill for them, their presence didn’t create any perplexity for the rest of us.

Max Braunstein and Miles Mitchell both walked the Golden Globes red carpet prior to the event for the identical reason. Last year, they each claimed victory in celebrity doppelganger competitions. Glen Powell’s mother herself declared Braunstein the winner of her son’s twin-look contest held in Austin, Texas last November, and there’s a resemblance if you aren’t wearing your glasses.
Last October, I was thrilled to have won the Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest in New York City. It’s quite possible you heard about it since the man himself graced the event with his presence. Out of 2,500 participants, I emerged victorious, leaving me questioning how closely my fellow competitors resembled the talented star of both “Dune” and “A Complete Unknown.” This is not a comment on my own looks; I consider myself a good-looking young man. Instead, I’m referring to my Chalamet-like qualities, and in that aspect, I must admit, it’s quite a stretch.
I had twice the joy tonight! I crossed paths with the victor of my doppelganger competition at the Golden Globes. The picture was captured by Maxwell Braunstein.

It’s not necessary for either of them to be concerned. They both resemble their famous counterparts closely enough to have been invited to the Golden Globes and even hold funny signs. What makes it even better is that they both had an opportunity to take a photo with their celebrity. Additionally, Braunstein might soon have a movie cameo alongside Powell.

It’s unclear what transpired at the 2025 Golden Globes, but it appears that two individuals resembling Glen Powell and Timothée Chalamet’s third cousin emerged as major victors, having won a doppelgänger competition.
