Thunderbolts Unveils First Look at Lewis Pullman’s Sentry in Stunning Concept Art

In simpler terms, they’ve unveiled authentic preliminary sketches for the “Thunderbolts” film featuring Lewis Pullman portraying The Sentry, a character who wields the power equivalent to a million suns, provided by Marvel.

Marvel Studios’ Lead Illustrator, John Staub, shared these designs recently. Additionally, he created the concept art for characters such as Deadpool, Wolverine (Blade version), Elektra, Chris Evans, among others.

I’m thrilled to have contributed to the design of Sentry for the Thunderbolts movie. It was a privilege to be part of bringing this character to life on the silver screen. What’s next for Lewis Pullman as The Sentry?

Lewis Pullman has officially joined the ensemble of 27 actors in “Avengers: Endgame,” alongside his fellow Thunderbolts teammates including Florence Pugh (Yelena), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), David Harbour (Red Guardian), and Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost. The question still lingers as to whether Robert Reynolds, The Sentry, or his villainous counterpart, The Void, will make an appearance in the film.

Before the launch of “Thunderbolts”, Pullman had a conversation with Marvel, discussing his initial experience of donning the suit.

Pullman chuckled as he expressed, “It seemed similar to the movie Memento, I found myself asking, ‘Where am I? What is going on?’ However, once I put on that suit, I yearned for a few moments to explore it and make it feel like my own. It took some getting used to. You rarely envision yourself wearing one of those suits. They always appear distant and unrealistic when you only see others in them.

Pullman expressed, “I found it to be a more tangible adventure than I anticipated initially. At first, I delved into the character’s psychology. However, I discovered that incorporating physical aspects was useful in demonstrating who is in control at different stages. This aspect turned out to be both enjoyable and demanding to manage.
