Starting with the asterisk, the video clip takes the audience to the logo of The New Avengers

If you’ve seen the film “Thunderbolts,” you’d notice that a group of anti-heroes and outcasts transform into The New Avengers near the movie’s end. The title of the movie, “Thunderbolts,” is significant because Yelena’s former school sports team was also named Thunderbolts.

As time passes, and they successfully defeat the menacing, god-like entity as well as the darker aspect of Sentry known as The Void, Red Guardian, US Agent, Bucky Barnes (also known as the Winter Soldier), Ghost, and their ally manage to save the day. In recognition of their heroic actions, they are later identified by the movie’s antagonist, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, as a new team – The New Avengers.

Stars like thunderbolts (in this case): Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Lewis Pullman, Wyatt Russell, and Hannah John-Kamen.

The film explores the melancholic existence of former heroes, now battling their own demons, having once thrived on rescuing the world from major threats.

Thunderbolts* is in theatres now.
