Throwback: When 50 Cent Recalled His Own Shooting Incident Post Trump Assassination Attempt

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for resilience and survival, I must say that 50 Cent‘s story is a powerful testament to human spirit and fortitude. Having personally experienced the harrowing ordeal of being shot nine times, he has managed to transform his pain into art, creating a legacy that resonates with millions worldwide.

Recently, at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, an unknown person was firing shots at him. While he was still on stage, the shots grazed his ear, leaving the people at the rally and the netizens in shock. He was later rushed down from the stage and was declared ‘safe’.

On various social media outlets, numerous individuals have been discussing a certain topic. Reminiscent of a similar experience in his past, rapper 50 Cent expressed his feelings through his Twitter account. He declared that he could sense the atmosphere and then recounted how he had been shot multiple times, sharing his own incident.

In my own words, I’ve posted a photo showing Donald Trump being escorted offstage, and I wrote, “I sense the mood. We’re all in deep now!” Later, I reposted the cover art of my ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin” album, swapping my face with Trump’s image, accompanied by the caption, “Trump gets shot, and suddenly, I’m trending.” As Billboard magazine reported, this incident involving me occurred in 2000, before the release of my debut album ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’. The individual identified as the shooter at that time was Darryl ‘Hommo’ Baun.

50 Cent’s shooting incident left everyone stunned and disheartened. The rapper was hit by nine bullets from a handgun outside his grandmother’s house in South Jamaica, Queens. He was standing near the house when an unidentified person began firing at him. 50 Cent was wounded in his legs, arm, hip, chest, and face, leaving him severely injured. He underwent multiple surgeries to stay alive.

During an appearance on Howard Stern’s show in 2013, this rapper explained, “I received payment for it… It’s my history… It’s karma. He was compensated because someone believed I might retaliate if they continued their actions. Being shot in the face wasn’t as agonizing as having to endure multiple dental visits for a root canal.”

During Donald Trump’s secure transport, it was discovered that the potential gunman had passed away. The Secret Service disclosed that the gunman may have been stationed at a higher vantage point outside the rally. Despite our lack of knowledge about the assailant’s identity, online communities have expressed their worries on social media platforms for several weeks.
