Okay, let’s talk about Thor. This new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday really hits you with the contrast between his life and Steve Rogers’. While Cap had a simple, peaceful past, Thor is gearing up for another fight, but this time it feels different. The trailer opens with a powerful scene of him pleading with his deceased father, Odin. He essentially lays out his whole life – always answering the call to duty and war – but now he has a daughter, a little girl named Love, and he wants something more. He’s asking for the strength to fight one last time, not as a warrior, but as a father who can return home and teach her peace – something he never experienced himself. It’s a really moving moment. And we get quick glimpses of Love throughout the trailer, showing she’s grown quite a bit since Thor: Love and Thunder. It definitely adds emotional weight to everything.
It seems Thor’s next opponent will be Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in the upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday. We’re rooting for Thor, and thankfully, he won’t be facing this challenge alone.

The trailer for Avengers: Doomsday hints that Thor will be back. That means Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as the character one last time for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
