This Character’s Surprise Cameo in The White Lotus Season 3 Premiere Episode Will Blow Your Mind

Spoiler alert for The White Lotus season 3 premiere episode, Same Spirits, New Forms. 

In the debut episode alone, fans were left breathless as they watched The White Lotus’s newest season. Remarkably, Jon Gries reappeared in role of Greg, the series’ most despised character, during The White Lotus Season 3.

Hotel visitor Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood), previously engaged in an argument with her boyfriend Rick (Walton Goggins), spent the evening drowning her sorrows at a bar within the Thailand resort by herself—that is, until she encountered companionship from another guest, the stunning young model Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon), who shared a comparable predicament in terms of relationship troubles.

While the girls chatted about their annoyance with their cranky beaus, Chloe disclosed that she lived in a house perched atop the hill and they mostly went to the resort just for dining at the restaurant. As she indicated her older boyfriend seated elsewhere in the room, it turned out to be none other than Greg (Jon Gries), the sinister adversary from earlier seasons.

Initially, Greg made his debut in The White Lotus Season 2, where he was a visitor at the luxurious Maui resort. It was there that he successfully charmed a rich yet innocent guest, Tanya (played by Jennifer Coolidge), harboring a hidden agenda all along.

In the second season, following their marriage, the pair jet-setted off to the White Lotus resort in Sicily for a leisurely getaway. However, poor Tanya was unaware that her idyllic retreat would soon descend into chaos, becoming the regrettable turning point of her existence—ultimately culminating in her demise. Greg masterminded a scheme to have Tanya eliminated to seize her fortune, and unfortunately for all involved, his malevolent plan came to fruition.

Currently, Greg finds himself in possession of wealth, a fresh life, and a youthful partner who’s younger than him – all part of his intended plan. Yet, could his visit to the White Lotus resort potentially alter his destiny for the worse? There’s a chance that Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) might recognize Greg from their past brief interaction.

Will Tanya finally get the justice she deserves? That would be satisfying to watch!
