As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say that it’s truly heartwarming to see the bond between Adam Sandler and his daughters Sadie and Sunny. Their dedication towards each other’s wellbeing is a testament to their strong familial ties and respect for one another.
It’s often stated that good health equals prosperity, and it seems Adam Sandler’s children, Sadie (aged 18) and Sunny (aged 15), really embrace this idea. During an interview with PEOPLE at the New York City premiere of his Netflix comedy special “Adam Sandler: Love You” on August 20, 2024, the well-known comedian and actor shared that his daughters encourage him to prioritize his health.
As a devoted admirer, I often find myself reflecting on how much someone cares for me, just as I once did for my father. That special individual consistently prioritizes my well-being, much like my dad used to do. When I see this, I can’t help but think, “This person is someone I want in my life!” So, I find myself urging my dad to quit smoking, and now my kids are doing the same for me. They encourage me to relax and eat a bit more like an average person, humorously enough.
After the actor shared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast earlier this month, I learned that Sadie recommended I seek out the same trainer I worked with during the filming of my 2008 movie “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.”
In the course of time, he revealed his battles with fitness maintenance and confessed that his body was no longer capable of the exercise routine he once had. He conceded that he had put on some weight due to a pattern of playing basketball followed by eating meals, implying that it becomes challenging to keep fit as you grow older.
He also reminded himself of his daughter Sadie constantly urging him to rehire the trainer from the 2008 movie and inquiring why he had parted ways with him initially. “I can’t seem to return to that place… She’s spot on [but] I don’t make any promises. I respond, ‘Give me some time to consider; it’s a solid suggestion,'” he continued.
In various movies of their father Adam Sandler throughout the years, daughters Sadie and Sunny (from his marriage to Jackie Sandler) have made appearances. However, it was only in 2023 that they secured leading roles.
Similar to her elder sibling, Sunny has featured in numerous films produced by her dad, such as Grown Ups, Blended, and Murder Mystery. Furthermore, Sunny is not just an actress but also a talented singer. In June 2019, she showcased a song from The Greatest Showman during one of her father’s stand-up performances on stage.
Speaking as a fanatic, I can’t help but share how Sandler’s affection for his precious girls shines brightly. He’s always found expressing love in heartwarming ways, like when he escorted his little ladies to Taylor Swift’s LA concert film premiere. After the show, the music sensation graciously posed for photos with them!
