‘These Are My Kids’: Full House Stars Dave Coulier & Jodie Sweetin Recall Last Reunion With Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen

As a dedicated follower of the Full House family for decades now, I can’t help but marvel at how our beloved characters and actors have grown and evolved over the years. The memories they created together during those golden days in the ’90s are imprinted deep within my heart, reminding me of simpler times filled with laughter and camaraderie.

At a panel during the 90s Con Florida event, the Full House co-stars Jodie Sweetin and Dave Coulier reminisced about their last reunion with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, which took place at Bob Saget’s memorial service following his tragic death from head trauma in January 2022.

Sweetin mentioned that we last saw each other at Bob’s memorial service, and it was one of the few times we were all gathered together. As Coulier stated, I have a lovely photograph of myself, Mary-Kate, and Ashley on Dumbo, laughing together,” is a possible paraphrase of the original sentence.

He found one of his most cherished instances, as it felt timeless, because they were his children, he remarked.

From 1987 to 1995, Full House graced our screens and quickly became a popular TV show in many households. In the year 2016, Netflix brought back this beloved series under the title Fuller House, featuring returning stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber. This spin-off ran for five seasons until it ended in 2020. The cast consisted of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, John Stamos, Bob Saget, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, and other talented actors.

2023 marked the debut of the “How Rude, Tanneritos!” rewatch podcast by Sweetin and Barber. On this podcast, they reminisce about their experiences and unravel intriguing secrets that took place during the production of the show.

On May 17, 2024, John Stamos, a former cast member who played Jesse Katsopolis on [the show], posted a picture of the cast gathering as a tribute for what would have been Bob Saget’s 68th birthday.

On what would have been Bob’s birthday, we came together to remember him. Stamos shared how deeply his absence is felt today, but also celebrated the lasting impact Bob made – a legacy of compassion, kindness, and warmth.

Earlier, John shared insights from his 2023 memoir, “If You Would Have Told Me.” In this book, he discussed his struggle with alcohol and the significant event of his DUI arrest in June 2015. After this arrest, he divulged that he made the choice to seek treatment for his substance problems and subsequently attended therapy sessions.
