The fact that a paparazzo dared to spy on them while hang-gliding is simply unbelievable! It’s as if we’re living in a world where privacy doesn’t exist, and even the laws of physics are bendable for some.

Ariana Grande shares an incredible experience from the set of Wicked, where paparazzi were spotted flying hang-gliders to secretly photograph the filming. This surprising event, which also involved Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey, left Grande in disbelief during the movie’s production. The cast members found it hard to believe when they saw a man hovering overhead, seemingly attached to a large kite.

As a lifestyle expert, I recently came across an intriguing discussion between Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, stars of the highly anticipated film adaptation of “Wicked”, who shared their experiences with overzealous photographers trying to capture unauthorized shots and videos from director Jon M. Chu’s set.

Grandé shared with Chu that it turned out to be fortunate to collaborate with him, as the initial impression was of a modest undertaking. Jonathan Bailey recalled an instance where they even spotted a photographer dangling from a large kite, with Go-pros attached to his feet, so he could take pictures from above.

Initially, Grande believed she might have misunderstood due to her less-than-perfect vision, but it didn’t make logical sense. She then remarked, “Firstly, because my eyesight isn’t top-notch. Secondly, because it’s inconceivable. It’s impossible! I thought, hmm, that must be a man on a hang glider.”

Ariana Grande, known for her hit song “The 7 Rings,” playfully suggested that the photographer should consider taking on the role of a pterodactyl in his upcoming film, which happens to be Jurassic Park 4, featuring Scarlett Johansson.

In this reinterpretation, the movie “Wicked” revolves around Elphaba, portrayed by Cynthia Erivo, a girl often misjudged due to her green complexion. Over time, she develops a profound bond with Glinda, a character who seeks social acceptance and status.

Ariana Grande assumes the character of Glinda, showcasing her singing talent in the upcoming Wicked musical. Jonathan Bailey from Bridgerton plays Fiyero, Jeff Goldblum portrays The Wizard, Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) takes on Dr. Dillamond, and Michelle Yeoh, an Academy Award winner, stars as Madame Morrible. Bowen Yang is cast as Pfannee, and Ethan Slater plays Boq. The film’s first part will debut on November 22nd, 2024, with the second part premiering on November 26th, 2025.
