‘There’s No Trust’: Olivia Plath Rejects Moriah’s Apology After the Latter Spread Lies About Stealing Her Music

As a devoted fan of the Plathville family saga, I must say that the ongoing drama between Olivia and Moriah has become a rollercoaster ride of emotions for me! It’s like watching a Shakespearean tragedy unfold, complete with betrayal, apologies, and mistrust.

The long-standing disagreement between Olivia Plath and her former sister-in-law Moriah Plath appears unresolved, as Olivia found Moriah’s apology lacking in detail, stating it was “not particular.” In a special sneak peek of Welcome to Plathville, the two women meet for the first time since their rift.

In the brief video segment, Olivia shared why she found it challenging to accept Moriah’s apology. She expressed that Moriah’s apology seemed vague because it lacked specificity, as she put it. Later on, Olivia made clear that she was anticipating an apology from Moriah for publicly labeling her a liar.

Previously, I shared with Ethan a tale about you secretly publishing and subsequently deleting your own music, pocketing the earnings – a claim you refuted vehemently at the time. However, today I’d like to clear the air: “I sincerely apologize for spreading a rumor that you took credit for my music and disseminated it to the public. It was not true.”

Despite Olivia feeling relief upon discovering the truth, her response to the apology was somber. In the recording, she explained, “It seems like this discussion was crucial for her to possibly find closure within herself.”

She further revealed her distrust with Moriah who despite knowing the truth felt comfortable spreading rumors about her. Olivia claimed that “there’s no trust there” between her and Moriah. “My closure is what’s happening. All those things should have been worked and worked out privately,” she said.

Instead of continuing to mock Moriah about her “questionable” apology and hinting at her upcoming song supposedly targeting Olivia, she found it amusing that despite publicly apologizing and having a private conversation with Moriah, she would still be releasing a tune from her secret diary criticizing the silent and seemingly perplexed Olivia!

The new episodes of Welcome to Plathville will start airing on Tuesday, August 6 onwards on TLC.
