‘There’s No Dream Collab’ On Charlie Puth’s Radar As He Prepares For His Next Album

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for musical trends, I must say that Charlie Puth’s approach to collaboration is nothing short of inspiring. His focus on discovering and promoting lesser-known artists is a breath of fresh air in an industry often consumed by high-profile collaborations. His genuine desire to help others reach their full potential is commendable and reflects his growth as an artist and individual.

Charlie Puth, the Grammy-nominated musician known for his songwriting skills, is adopting an unconventional strategy for future collaborations as he gears up for his upcoming album. Unlike his past successes with established artists, Puth openly shares that he hasn’t yet decided on a specific artist for his next significant collaboration.

When asked about his dream collaboration, Puth told PEOPLE that he doesn’t have a specific wish list. Instead, he has a different aspiration: collaborating with an exceptionally talented artist who hasn’t had their big break yet. He expressed that it would be fulfilling if their dreams started to come true or became more realized as a result of this collaboration.

Currently, Charlie Puth prioritizes unearthing and elevating lesser-known talents over engaging in high-profile partnerships. Instead, he prefers collaborating with others to aid their growth and development. In his view, this form of collaboration is more fulfilling than working with established artists or those he merely desires to collaborate with for personal gain. For Charlie Puth, assisting others in realizing their potential and discovering what they are truly capable of holds greater value than any partnership with a well-known artist.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share the thrill when I found out that Charlie Puth dropped his emotional anthem “Hero” in May. This masterpiece was born after Taylor Swift gave it a shoutout in her track “The Tortured Poets Department.” The recognition from Taylor ignited something within Charlie, leading him to pour his heart out with this song, which holds immense personal significance for him.

He shared in an Instagram Post that his new song HERO is about when you see someone you love hurting themselves, ruining the things in their life that are good, but you just can’t save them. He called it one of the hardest songs he has ever had to write, but he wrote it in hopes that all have gone through something similar in their lives and that it can fill in the BLANK for them like it did for him.

Puth further shared his eagerness about his forthcoming album in 2025, calling “Hero” an excellent sneak peek. Interestingly, though, this song won’t make it to the album. He explained that he’s never released a track similar to this one, as it’s quite distinct for him. Puth expressed gratitude towards Taylor Swift for allowing him to explore new musical territories, saying he felt compelled to bring this song out of his computer’s hard drive.

Besides focusing on his new music, Puth has also been involved in community projects. Lately, he teamed up with BIC for the back-to-school period, organizing a Creativity Camp in New York City on August 7. This camp, tailored for students and educators, was inspired by the 4-Color Ballpoint Pen from BIC and featured activities such as journal writing, beat production, cover art creation, and a live performance by Puth.
