However, with the Multiverse Saga nearing its climax, it’s hard not to feel that Loki’s story is far from over. The multiverse-shattering events hinted at in Avengers: Secret Wars demand a character like Loki, who has always been more than just a god of mischief.

The recent hints dropped by Marvel, such as the post-credits scene from The Marvels, suggest that Loki could be the key to preventing a cosmic disaster. But what if his role as the God of Stories puts him in the crosshairs of the main villain? If Doctor Doom emerges as the big bad, we might see an epic confrontation between two gods with a penchant for manipulating reality.

On the other hand, Loki’s newfound position at the heart of the multiverse could lead to a more subtle role.
