Among the buzzworthy appearances, Chris Hemsworth’s portrayal of Thor has sparked speculation about Marvel’s narrative development in the future.
To clarify, at the beginning of the film, the character Deadpool visits the Time Variance Authority’s main building in search of his friend, Wolverine, across different timelines. While reviewing the tapes, he discovers a video clip showing himself being comforted by Thor, with the God of Thunder appearing to weep for what seems to be the fallen Deadpool.
Fans of Marvel are now speculating about the plot of the Cinematic Universe’s future due to a recent clip. However, different media theories appear to have solved the mystery. Repeated mentions of Thor in the movie suggest that Deadpool will feature in the upcoming Avengers movies.
Previously, Ryan Reynolds shared a backstage photo from his Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “Now I know why Thor was crying. This secret I cannot unlearn.” Chris Hemsworth also posted this image on his social media platform, responding with, “I’m capable of keeping secrets as well.”
In line with the theories circulating, it’s predicted that Deadpool will reappear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during Avengers: Secret Wars. Here, he is expected to engage in a battle alongside Robert Downey Jr.’s Dr. Doom and the rest of the Avengers. Rumors suggest that Deadpool might ultimately give his life to save one of the Avengers or Thor himself by the conclusion of Secret Wars.
A different idea suggests that in one of the upcoming Marvel films, Deadpool and Thor might join forces. It’s predicted that Deadpool will be featured in the next Thor movie. The potential collaboration and their shared screen time could boost Marvel Studios following the underperformance of Thor: Love and Thunder at the box office. However, both Deadpool and Wolverine have been receiving positive responses recently, and it seems likely they’ll battle a villain together in the future.
During a chat with Collider, Ryan Reynolds discussed the emotional Thor scene. He shared that he can’t reveal much about this specific part due to confidentiality. The Proposal star jokingly admitted, “I’m supposed to spill the beans, Frosty, and give you a full view of what’s underneath the robe. I promised no pants, and I delivered. I let you down. But don’t worry, that scene will eventually come to light.”
