Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s comments on audience’s high expectations of Deadpool & Wolverine
During an interview with Deadline at the red carpet event for Deadpool and Wolverine’s premiere, Reynolds and Jackman expressed their eagerness for the Marvel film’s debut. In their chat with the media outlet, Jackman disclosed, “We had really high hopes for this movie.”
He remarked, “Indeed, there’s a risk involved since we aimed to surpass those high expectations for these cherished characters of ours. Our friendship holds significant value in my life. Therefore, we strived to excel and I am thrilled that it has not only met but surpassed everyone else’s expectations as well.”
Along with The Wolverine’s cast member, Reynolds expressed his pride in the intricately designed details of Deadpool 3’s production.
“I truly believe that the same high standards apply to us, the audience, for these movies. It’s not enough to simply meet those expectations; we crave something more. Every moment of the film needs to surpass them, not just during an exciting sequence, but throughout the entire experience.”
He remarked, “I’m particularly proud of each frame in Deadpool and Wolverine. We put a great deal of thought into every detail, investing ample time and care. The result is worth it.”

Does Ryan Reynolds improvise too much?
Based on news articles, Emma Corrin shares that during filming for Deadpool and Wolverine, where she makes her Marvel entrance, Ryan Reynolds frequently ad-libs. Corrin expressed apprehension about collaborating with Reynolds due to this improvisational behavior.
Corrin explained, “He’s quite improvisational when it comes to his own role, but he’s open to suggestions for other characters as well. He frequently proposes ideas and is always encouraging with responses like, ‘That was fantastic! How about this? I just thought of something.’ It’s all about building upon each other’s ideas.”
Emma Corrin takes on the role of Cassandra Nova, the opposing figure, in the upcoming film. The duo of Deadpool and Wolverine is set to hit theaters on July 26.
