On May 22, 2025, in an episode of The Young and the Restless, Abby congratulates Amanda at Crimson Lights on her new job. She inquires if Amanda has moved back to town permanently. Amanda replies that she had not, stating Dumas showed no interest in Winters. However, Abby is skeptical about this response.
In a casual manner, Devon joins the discussion and inquires for further information. He’s puzzled as to why Dumas would show interest in their business, and is curious about Amanda’s intentions. Despite her efforts to ease the tension, Devon persisted with his queries.
In simpler terms, Devon requested a meeting from Dumas. However, Amanda expressed that nothing she had done was ever satisfactory for him. Despite this, he continued with his request. Eventually, Amanda consented to the meeting.
In the meantime, Damian informs Lily that he was ready to accept her proposal. However, upon learning Dumas’s lack of interest in Winters, he questions if their plan to use Damian as a spy remains valid. He acknowledges her concern for his safety, but she clarifies her fears are actually for Nate.
Damian tells Dumas that the proposal to act as a spy is no longer an option. Damis wonders if the job offer still stands. Lily clarifies that while the offer is still there, she understands that Damian taking a position at Winters might lead to additional complications for him.
At the Society, Kyle and Claire dropped by to visit Nate and Audra. They congratulated Audra on securing funding for her company, specifically for Victor. This caught Nate off guard as it was unexpected that Kyle would back Audra in this way.
In a later conversation, Claire voices her disapproval towards her partner’s scheme to mislead Audra. She found it unsettling due to his dishonesty. Additionally, she addresses Kyle by expressing concern over his emotional tangles with him.
As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of worry when Kyle declared his intention to halt Audra. The reason for his actions seemed tinged with vengeance, a concern that troubled me deeply, Claire-like, as I watched the unfolding events.
