In the most recent episode of The Young and the Restless, broadcasted on February 17, 2025, the audience had a chance to observe an exchange between Claire and Kyle at Chancellor Park. During this encounter, he admitted missing her and understood that she might have been displeased due to his canceled dinner plans.

She informed him that she wasn’t angry, and pondered over his reaction, which was “If you really want to,” when she suggested rescheduling. However, Kyle attempts to explain that he was merely joking when he replied in this manner, but Claire found his explanation unconvincing.

When she disclosed that he wasn’t fond of the idea of meeting her grandpa, he admitted that numerous meals shared wouldn’t change his feelings, as he would always be a ‘Abbott.’ What Claire did express, though, was the significance to her, that Victor would accept their family.

After recognizing the profound importance of her grandfather’s approval, Claire subsequently disclosed that she chose not to end things with Kyle since he brought joy into her life.

While at Jack and Diane’s home, the pair discussed renovating their house, but Jack didn’t seem too thrilled about the modifications to his childhood home. However, she reassured him not to worry, saying that the changes weren’t drastic and he would grow to appreciate them. Upon hearing this, Jack agreed with the renovation, while Diane looked delighted.

At Crimson Lights, Nate inquires from Holden about Damian’s response concerning the news involving him and Amy. In turn, Holden shares with Nate their scheme of relocating to Los Angeles.

Afterward, Nate sends a note to Damian, asking him to have one final meeting as a way to keep him from departing Genoa City permanently.
