The Voice Season 27 Gets Country and Rock Twist With THESE Mega Mentors; Find Out Who

In a delightful twist, The Voice has amplified its rural ambiance by inviting two beloved music idols, Grammy winners LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow, to take on mentoring roles for Season 27 of the popular singing competition show. These talented veterans will lend their expertise to both contestants and coaches during the Playoff rounds on NBC.

In this scenario, Crow is set to share her knowledge with the coaching squads of Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé, whereas Rimes will guide the teams of John Legend and Adam Levine. Each coach initially enters the Playoffs with a group of five artists. Following some impressive stage performances, coaches will pick two artists from their respective groups to proceed to the Live Shows.

On their individual Instagram accounts, both Crow and Rimes announced the news, with Rimes posting a picture from the NBC show and captioning it, “Here we go @NBCTheVoice.

In the latest lineup of Mega Mentors for the American version of The Voice, neither Rimes nor Crow are new faces. Both have graced The Voice stage before, with Rimes serving as a coach for both The Voice UK and The Voice Australia, even winning the 13th season of The Voice Australia in October 2024. Crow, known for her unique blend of pop, rock, country, and folk music, has also been a mentor on The Voice since Season 4 and has continued to perform on the show numerous times since then.

Previously, esteemed figures from the entertainment industry such as Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, and Jennifer Hudson have been bestowed with the honorary title of “Mega Mentor.” As a lifestyle expert, I find myself continually inspired by their wisdom and achievements, and I’m excited to share their insights with you.

In Season 27, Adam Levine reappeared on The Voice coaching panel following a five-year absence. Earlier in the competition, each coach enlisted an advisor to aid their team during the battles. Michael Bublé chose Tony winner Cynthia Erivo, John Legend sought assistance from R&B singer and Bel-Air star Coco Jones, Kelsea Ballerini called upon country group Little Big Town, and Levine welcomed his longtime friend and high school classmate Kate Hudson to help him.

Last season, Jennifer Hudson served as a mentor for both Michael Bublé’s and Reba McEntire’s groups, while Sting provided guidance to Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani’s respective teams in their roles as super-mentors.
