The Voice Fame Sundance Head Shot In Stomach In Texas; Deets Inside

As a fervent admirer of Sundance Head‘s soulful country tunes and captivating performances, the news of his unfortunate shooting incident has left me deeply saddened. Having witnessed his journey from American Idol to The Voice, I can’t help but feel a profound connection with this talented artist who has touched our hearts with his ever-loving songs.

On November 15, 2024, Sundance Head, famously recognized as a winner on The Voice television show, experienced a shooting incident at his ranch in Texas. This beloved artist was subsequently rescued by helicopter and transported to a hospital in Tyler, Texas, where he has since received medical care.

As reported by TMZ, paramedics successfully stabilized him following the incident where he was shot. The artist’s representative later informed TMZ that Sundance Head himself made a call to 911 due to being shot. In simpler terms, after getting shot, Sundance Head dialed 911, and the paramedics managed to stabilize him. Later, he was airlifted.

Misty, wife of the artist Close Enough to Walk, shared that a bullet had missed essential body parts and lodged in a layer of fat in her husband’s abdomen. During this critical time, she appealed to the artist’s fans for prayers as they were on their way to the hospital, with TMZ reporting this news.

Currently, there’s not a lot known about the event that left fans of the singer from “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” stunned. However, his representative has stated that it’s usual for him to frequently visit his ranch for hunting trips.

On the day Sundance Head was shot, he had posted a picture on Facebook earlier, depicting him seated within his blue tent. In this social media update, Head also hinted at having awakened to the tranquil “sound of stillness.

A short while later, he posted about it, expressing joy over his son Levi getting accepted into Texas A&M University.

Presently, the shooting is being stated as an accident, according to the outlet.

The singer known for timeless country ballads like “Love Can Build a Bridge,” “Drive Me to Drinking,” and “When a Woman Stops Loving Her Man” has made appearances on not one but two well-known TV talent competitions: American Idol and The Voice.

Back in the year 2007, Sundance Head had reached the semi-finals on Season 6 of American Idol.

However, he was eliminated exactly one week before the finals were about to air.

He then went ahead to get on Season 11 of The Voice back in 2016 and became its winner.

Sundance Head’s coach on The Voice was Blake Shelton.
