Okay, so the opening credits of The Vampire Lestat? Total fan service! You’ve got Lestat himself, looking every bit the brooding, gorgeous rockstar – seriously, obsessed. And Louis is right there with him, and that scene where he seems to eat Lestat is just… wow. Then all the other vampires start popping up. There’s Daniel Molloy, newly turned, and Armand, who honestly gives off major gremlin vibes, lurking in the shadows. You even get a sense Claudia is still around, haunting things. But it doesn’t stop there! You catch glimpses of other vampires too – I swear I saw Nosferatu (that’s how Lestat sees Armand), and a vampire that looked exactly like Count Chocula or maybe even the Dracula from Groovie Ghoolies! It felt like they were paying tribute to Edward Cullen with a wall poster, and I’m pretty sure I spotted someone who looked a lot like Spike from Buffy. Honestly, it’s a vampire fan’s dream – I’m obsessed!

We also get a few hints about what’s coming in The Vampire Lestat. Expect missed chances, moments of peace, death, and… bowling! There might even be a frozen Akasha, and why not a bloody urinal too?
The new season of The Vampire Lestat follows Lestat on a high-energy rock tour, but he’s also confronted by figures from his past. As his band gains fame, Lestat’s power over both vampires and humans grows, creating conflict during a sudden and dramatic increase in the vampire population—known as the Great Conversion. The show stars Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle, alongside Reid, and is produced by Mark Johnson, Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice. The opening credits themselves create a wonderfully eerie and captivating atmosphere.
Fans can finally mark their calendars! The Vampire Lestat is set to debut on June 7th, and we’re incredibly excited. Both seasons of Interview with the Vampire are currently available to stream on AMC+.
