Speaking to People magazine regarding his collaboration with Hone Health, Paul Wesley reminisced on the long, “intense” hours he put in during the filming of The Vampire Diaries, a series dear to many hearts. He confessed that throughout most of his twenties, he experienced high levels of stress and burnout due to overwork.
At age 26, Wesley got involved with the youth-oriented program, and as its popularity surged, he found himself increasingly immersed in his professional commitments. He openly acknowledged that he was overly focused on his duties at the time, to the extent of neglecting his health.
Over time, the actor from the TV show “OC” attributed his ongoing good health to strong genetics. However, excessive work pressure and poor sleep habits eventually began to affect him negatively. In his own words, as he grew older, long work hours, filming, and stress became overwhelming.
Strange New Worlds disclosed that during his early thirties, he had a total collapse in his adrenal gland function. This led to irregular sleeping habits, low stamina, and confusion, which he eventually recognized as indicators of a need for lifestyle adjustments.
In a newfound enthusiasm, Wesley found himself drawn to delve deeper into the concept of holistic health. As he entered his forties, he made a conscious effort to adopt preventative strategies. He came to understand that maintaining good health involves adhering to certain practices such as taking supplements, following specific diet plans, regular exercise, and even practicing meditation, all in an attempt to ward off illness.
His increasing fascination with maintaining good health proactively led him to financially support businesses advocating these practices. Currently, he serves as the representative figure for Hone Health, an online health clinic that operates on a subscription basis.
The organization is recognized for suggesting customized prescriptions and dietary supplement regimens, health-focused lifestyle adjustments, and social group assistance. It was mentioned that over the past five to six years, Wesley has embraced a comprehensive approach to wellness and healthier living.
The performer acknowledged that Hone Health’s strategy resonated with him, providing him insight into the fact that Western medicine isn’t the only means of preserving good health and leading a healthy life. He further stated, “We rarely take the time to thoroughly examine our own health mechanisms.
