This impressive viewer count represents a nearly 40% increase compared to the first-week numbers for Season 2, which garnered approximately 17.9 million viewers.
Amazon announced that the program has become the fifth most-streamed returning series in their Prime Video record, with only Reacher Seasons 2 and 3, The Rings of Power Season 2, and The Boys Season 4 ahead of it.
Jenny Han, one of the creators and co-showrunners, expressed to The Hollywood Reporter that she’s thrilled by the impact of ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’.
