Based on reports from The Hollywood Reporter, the third season of The Summer I Turned Pretty has managed to attract over 25 million viewers globally within its initial week following its release on July 16, 2025. This impressive viewer count represents a nearly 40% increase compared to the first-week numbers for Season 2, which garnered approximately 17.9 million viewers.
Amazon announced that the program has become the fifth most-streamed returning series in their Prime Video record, with only Reacher Seasons 2 and 3, The Rings of Power Season 2, and The Boys Season 4 ahead of it.
Jenny Han, one of the creators and co-showrunners, expressed to The Hollywood Reporter that she’s thrilled by the impact of ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’. Seeing it touch millions, ignite countless fan discussions, push the books back onto bestseller lists, and spark reactions from viewers on social media is more than she could have ever imagined.
