The Residence, a fresh mystery series, is set to premiere on Netflix this week! Originating from Kate Andersen Brower’s book of the same name, ‘The Residence’, the show will have its worldwide launch on Netflix starting March 20.

This limited series is brought to you by the same team behind Bridgerton, focusing on the individuals who work within the White House – home of the President of the United States. The official description goes: “Exploring life within the White House staff quarters and the shared existence of the workers with the First Family.

The series unfolds around a made-up political murder mystery within the White House team, ramping up the intrigue. The initial season comprises eight episodes penned by Paul William Davies and helmed by Liza Johnson. Uzo Aduba plays Cordelia Cupp, a quirky detective tasked with solving the crime.

As the probe progresses, it becomes apparent that disputes among the staff are emerging. This internal strife starkly contradicts the customarily tranquil and formal environment typically found in the President’s home.
