HBO Max’s medical drama, The Pitt, impressed viewers with its strong and moving first season, leading the streaming service to order a second. Good news for both returning fans and new viewers: the show, starring Noah Wyle, has been renewed for a third season, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. This means there are plenty more episodes on the way.
It’s still unclear when the third season will be released, but fans have plenty to enjoy right now with the second part of The Pitt. This installment takes place ten months after the first season ended, during the Fourth of July – definitely a busy and challenging time for emergency medical personnel, considering how often fireworks cause accidents.
This season, Dr. Robby will focus on his own healing journey after experiencing trauma. We’ll see how his progress unfolds and how it connects to the events of season three of The Pitt.
