10. ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ (2025)
Jennifer Kaytin Robinson directs this new installment in the series, which centers on a group of friends in Southport who try to hide a deadly accident. A year later, they’re terrorized by someone seeking revenge. 9. ‘Despicable Me 3’ (2017)
As a huge fan of the Despicable Me series, I was so excited for this one! It turns out Gru has a twin brother, Dru, which is a fantastic twist! The story follows Gru as he deals with this newfound family and battles a surprisingly quirky villain – Balthazar Bratt, a former child star gone bad. Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda did a great job directing, and the writing by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio was really clever. Of course, Steve Carell is brilliant as both Grus – seriously, how does he do that?! – and he’s supported by an amazing cast including Kristen Wiig, Trey Parker, Miranda Cosgrove, and the always wonderful Julie Andrews. Illumination really delivered with this 90-minute film, and it’s no surprise it was a massive hit, earning over a billion dollars worldwide when it was in theaters.

The story begins with Thomas waking up in a place called the Glade, where he finds a group of boys attempting to navigate a dangerous and ever-changing maze. Directed by Wes Ball in his first feature film, and based on the novel by James Dashner, the movie stars Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Will Poulter, and Patricia Clarkson. 2. ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ (2025)
The new thriller, based on Ruth Ware’s popular novel, centers around Lo Blacklock, a journalist who sees someone fall from a yacht during an assignment.
