Daily Wire has released a new trailer and poster for its upcoming series, The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin. This seven-part epic will premiere on January 22, 2026, and will be available exclusively on DailyWire+.
This project is based on Stephen R. Lawhead’s acclaimed novels, which offer a fresh take on the Arthurian legend. The story is set after the Roman Empire collapses, exploring how faith emerges during a time of turmoil and conflict.

Series Overview
As a film buff, I’m really intrigued by The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin. It’s set in a Britain that’s really fighting for its life against invading barbarians, and the movie focuses on how Merlin becomes the powerful figure we know, exploring the battle between his beliefs and the forces of darkness. It sounds like a compelling story!
Okay, so this series comes from Jeremy Boreing, one of the people behind The Daily Wire. He didn’t just create it, though – he actually stepped behind the camera to direct some episodes, working alongside Jesse V. Johnson and Ryan Whitaker. It’s interesting to see the creator so directly involved in the execution, and that team dynamic definitely feels present in the final product.
The show’s executive producers are Boreing, Caleb Robinson, Ben Shapiro, Dallas Sonnier, Daniel Kresmery, and Ryan Whitaker. Travis Mills, Jonathan Hay, Amanda Presmyk, Jonathan Halperyn, Jerilyn Esquibel, Augusto Pelliccia, Julius Nasso, and Stephen Lawhead served as producers.

The new series, The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin, will begin airing on January 22, 2026, with fresh episodes released every Thursday. Subscribers to All Access will get a special preview, with the first two episodes available to stream starting December 25, 2025.
