As a seasoned gamer and animation enthusiast with a soft spot for DCU characters, I can hardly contain my excitement for James Gunn’s upcoming animated series, Creature Commandos! Having grown up on classic animated shows like Teen Titans and Justice League, and more recently binge-watching Adult Swim’s Harley Quinn, the prospect of another engaging, humorous, and action-packed DCU animation is music to my ears.
Meanwhile, James Gunn’s DC Universe is yet to fully kick off in cinemas (with the start happening when Superman debuts), but you might already know that the TV side of the DCU is moving swiftly with Peacemaker and the forthcoming animated series Creature Commandos. This project is shaping up to be a wild and thrilling ride.
As a fervent admirer, I’ve been on tenterhooks as Gunn has been drip-feeding us tantalizing tidbits about the project. We’ve already got our hands on a wealth of previews, including images and videos, for the upcoming show. Rest assured, there’s more to come!
