The Most Gross, Shocking, and Plain Weird Moments of GEN V Season 2

Season two of *Gen V* is here, and it feels strangely familiar. Marie, Jordan, and Emma are still dealing with the loss of Andre. At the same time, Cate is determined to get revenge after a dangerous encounter, and Sam is really struggling. The mysterious Project Odessa is back in focus, now controlled by Cipher at God U, creating a lot of tension. And, as always, *Gen V* delivers plenty of shocking, disturbing, and bizarre scenes – here are some of the highlights.

The Most Shocking, Gross, and Weird Moments in Gen V Season 2, Episode 1 – “New Year, New You”

The Great Odessa Failure of 1967

The second season of *Gen V* immediately throws viewers into a disturbing and shocking scene. The episode flashes back to 1967, introducing a young Thomas Godolkin as he desperately tries to prevent scientists from experimenting with a new superpowered drug at the Odessa lab. He arrives too late, and the trial quickly spirals out of control, resulting in gruesome and horrifying effects – people exploding, bursting into flames, and even growing tentacles. It’s safe to say the experiment was a complete disaster.

Dean Cipher Was at Elmira

It doesn’t take long to discover the new school dean, Cipher, is a strong conservative with a deep dislike for humans. Even more surprisingly, Jordan realizes he saw Cipher before, back in Elmira, where he was observing patients. It’s strange because no one knows what Cipher’s powers are or much about his past. This raises questions: what does he know, and what is he trying to achieve?

Cipher’s Ready to Blend Up Cate

Cate challenges Cipher about Andre’s death and warns him she’ll report him to Homelander. He reacts angrily, grabbing her hand and almost blending it in his smoothie. He releases her only after she promises to never provoke him again. It’s a clear power play, and Cate realizes she can’t control him with her abilities.

Marie Vs. Homelander Jerks

Jordan and Emma were forced to go back to God U, but Marie managed to escape while they were still held captive. She’s been keeping a low profile, staying in cheap hotels, until she witnesses a group of Homelander supporters attacking Starlighter fans. Marie attempts to intervene, but when she’s struck, she unleashes her powers and violently fights back.

Dogknott Licks a Bag of Chips

Vought dispatches Dogknott, a former contender for The Seven, to find Marie. Dogknott has enhanced senses of smell, like a dog, which he uses to track her. He locates a gas station where Marie made a purchase and grabs a bag of chips she handled. In a truly bizarre moment, he then licks the chip bag while the cashier watches in horror. This definitely earns him a spot on the list of the most shocking scenes from season two of *Gen V*.

When Butt Chugging Beer Goes Wrong

Parties at God U are known for being wild, but this one went too far. Someone started drinking beer… in an extremely unconventional way. After a bit, another partygoer, Jordan, told him to stop, which led to a quick fight. Jordan ended up punching the guy, and, unfortunately, beer sprayed out onto everyone nearby. It was definitely a memorable night, though not in a good way.

Starlight Saves the Day

Dogknott and Marie are fighting in her rundown hotel room when Starlight arrives and breaks it up. Starlight then asks Marie to go back to school and investigate something called Project Odessa, but Marie is hesitant. While it’s not entirely unexpected to see her involved, it’s surprising she’s teamed up with someone to oppose Vought and God U. The rest of The Boys are imprisoned except for Butcher, who is on the run, leaving everyone to wonder who Marie is working with.

Andre’s Sad Demise at Elmira

Emma and Jordan find Marie in New Jersey, and a heated argument breaks out about her decision to abandon everyone. During the confrontation, Jordan shares the devastating news that Andre died while trying to escape. He explained that Andre suffered a stroke and died after attempting to clear a roadblock.

Jordan Throws Cate and Nearly Kills Her

After that discussion, Cate unexpectedly arrives, and everyone is upset. She attempts to persuade Marie to attend God U, then uses her powers to read Marie’s mind and learns about her conversation with Starlight. Cate tries to control Marie, but Jordan intervenes, hitting her with a blast of energy that fractures her skull. Marie wants to take control of Cate’s blood, but Jordan warns her not to touch Cate due to her abilities. They ultimately abandon Cate, leaving her for dead, though previews suggest she survives.

The Most Shocking, Gross, and Weird Moments in Gen V Season 2, Episode 2 – “Justice Never Forgets”

Cate’s Accidental Power Massacre

Cate is in the hospital recovering from a serious injury. When she touched a nurse, strange things started happening – it was a sign her powers weren’t working right. The nurse immediately became violent and tragically killed another nurse. It’s definitely best if Cate avoids physical contact with others for now.

Girl, WTHey Is This Professor Talking About?!

Emma is taking a class called Advanced Influencer Fluency with the instructor Modesty Monarch. Modesty is known for promoting a traditional lifestyle and even wrote a book called *Super in the Streets, But Obedient in the Sheets* (yes, it’s quite a title!). Emma finds Modesty’s teachings completely nonsensical and can’t help but roll her eyes.

Hero Optimization 101

Emma at least avoided the Hero Optimization class, which Jordan and Marie are unfortunately stuck in – it’s brutal. They’re forced to fight a very strong opponent and hit a button to escape a locked room, but someone actually suffers a spinal injury. Cipher insists the class will help them unlock their full potential, so it remains to be seen if that’s true.

Emma Gets Big (and Naked) in Front of Polarity

We were surprised to see Emma team up with Andre’s father, but we’re happy about it. Together, they research Thomas Godolkin and Project Odessa in the archives. During their search, Emma experiences a dramatic growth spurt, leaving her without clothes, which makes Polarity uncomfortable. While she’s a college student, Emma is still much younger than Polarity and was close to his son.

The Deep Goes, Uh, Deep for Initiation

The Deep, a famous graduate of God U, was predictably a member of the university’s top fraternity. During a new member initiation, a bizarre and uncomfortable ritual took place: The Deep produced a large, suggestive object and instructed the pledges to disrobe. Shortly after, he passed the object, now visibly soiled, to another member for cleaning. It was a shocking and disturbing scene.

Marie Says “I Love You” to Jordan

Fans of Marie and Jordan were excited for this moment, but it turned out to be a little awkward. Marie confessed her love for Jordan while they were cuddling in bed, and he reacted with a strange expression. Their conversation became uncomfortable until fireworks started going off, prompting them to leave the bed and go outside to investigate.

Marie Is Project Odessa

It appears Marie is involved in the enigmatic Project Odessa. What this means for her remains to be seen.

The Most Shocking, Gross, and Weird Moments in Gen V Season 2, Episode 3 – “H Is for Human”

Marie Has an Aunt (Sort Of)

When reviewing Marie’s records, a baby photo surfaced showing her with her parents and a woman named Pam, who was a close friend of her mother. After Marie unintentionally caused the death of her parents, Pam abandoned her, but attempted to adopt Marie’s sister, Annabeth. Though they haven’t spoken in years, Marie contacts Pam hoping she might have information about something called Project Odessa, and Pam agrees to meet with her.

Sam Is Seeing Puppets Again

Honestly, this feels more heartbreaking than strange. We’ve seen Sam use puppets to cope with past trauma, which usually indicates he’s struggling emotionally. Now, while enjoying a picnic with his talkative new girlfriend, Sam confronts a talking sandwich that insults him. It’s clear he’s been holding a lot in, and it’s all coming to the surface.

The Naked Locker Room Run

Okay, so things get *really* awkward for Emma. She’s trying to figure out who’s been plastering the campus with posters supporting Starlight, and she finally catches the person doing it. What follows is this crazy chase, and it leads her *directly* into the guys’ locker room. And when I say locker room, I mean *completely* full of, well, let’s just say there’s a lot of exposed skin and it’s a pretty shocking moment. It’s definitely a scene you won’t forget!

One Guy in Another Guy’s Butt for Pleasure

Sam loses control when he realizes Emma can’t fix his emotional problems. He begins destroying his dorm room, and Jordan tries to intervene. A fight breaks out, and they accidentally crash through a wall, revealing a naked man crawling on the floor. As they leave the room, another man’s head unexpectedly emerges from someone’s rear end.

Cipher Was a Part of Project Odessa… and Brought Marie Into the World

Marie had been puzzled by Cipher’s strange interest in her, but Pam’s explanation cleared everything up. Marie’s parents struggled to conceive and accepted help from Vought, leading to Marie being born at a Vought fertility clinic called God U. Cipher was the doctor on duty that day.

Annabeth Lived with Pam

Marie finds Annabeth’s room at Pam’s apartment, realizing her sister was living nearby all along. This leads to a fight with Pam, who defends her actions by explaining she was given Compound V as a child and isn’t responsible for what happened. Pam refuses to reveal Annabeth’s current location, but Marie does gain some peace of mind knowing she wasn’t to blame for their parents’ deaths.

Jordan Goes Rogue

Jordan Li, currently ranked number one, was giving a speech on Thomas Godolkin Day when they unexpectedly deviated from the prepared remarks. Jordan revealed several shocking truths to the crowd. They confessed that Andre had died in prison, killed by his own powers, but framed as a hero. They also admitted to attacking Cate, not the Starlighters, making themselves the primary enemy. It seems things have gone terribly wrong!
