The show stars Seth Rogen, along with Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders. It first appeared on Apple TV+ on March 26, 2025, and has already been picked up for another season.

The show was the big winner at the 77th Primetime Emmys on September 14, 2025, taking home the award for Outstanding Comedy Series and several others for Rogen in acting, writing, and directing. Reports also highlight that it achieved a record number of wins between the Creative Arts and Primetime Emmy ceremonies.

9. ‘Severance’ (2022– )

This mind-bending sci-fi thriller centers on workers at Lumon Industries who have their work and personal memories deliberately kept separate. The series was created by Dan Erickson and is largely directed and executive produced by Ben Stiller. The talented cast includes Adam Scott, Britt Lower, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, Patricia Arquette, Zach Cherry, and Tramell Tillman. It first aired on September 24, 2021, and later seasons added talented actors such as Cherry Jones, Pilou Asbæk, Alexander Siddig, and Troy Kotsur to the cast.

The series, created by Skydance Television, has aired three seasons, and Apple has confirmed it will continue with additional seasons. The writing and production team includes Philip Goyer, Robert Friedman, Robyn Asimov, and David Ellison, among others. 7. ‘Chief of War’ (2025)

As a huge fan of historical dramas, I’m really excited about this new series! It’s set in late 1700s Hawaiʻi and tells the story of Kaʻiana, a royal who comes back home right when things are starting to heat up. Basically, it’s about the events leading up to the islands being united under Kamehameha I. It was created by Jason Momoa and Thomas Paʻa Sibbett, and Momoa actually stars in it alongside Luciane Buchanan and a whole cast of talented actors. It’s a nine-episode series that premiered on Apple TV+ on August 1, 2025, and I’ve already marked my calendar!

The show uses both Hawaiian and English languages, and its music was composed by Hans Zimmer and James Everingham. Jason Momoa, Sibbett, Francis Lawrence, and Peter Chernin all served as executive producers. Discussions surrounding the show’s creation and launch have also highlighted how accurately it represents Hawaiian culture and the talented team who brought it to life.

6. ‘Ted Lasso’ (2020–2023)

Created by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt, and Joe Kelly, based on characters originally appearing on NBC Sports, this comedy centers around Ted Lasso, an American football coach who begins leading the English soccer club AFC Richmond. The show stars Jason Sudeikis, alongside Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, and Nick Mohammed. It’s produced by Doozer, Universal Television, and Warner Bros. Television.

5. ‘The Reluctant Traveller with Eugene Levy’ (2023– )

Jack Lowden plays agent River Cartwright, and the cast also includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Sophie Okonedo, Jonathan Pryce, and Rosalind Eleazar. The series premiered on Apple TV+ on April 1, 2022, and was adapted for television by Will Smith (the British writer and producer, not the American actor).

The series has been directed by James Hawes and Jeremy Lovering, with scripts penned by Will Smith and other writers.
