The official trailer for The Mandalorian & Grogu is here, and Disney has finally released clips from the actual movie.
Following criticism of the initial Super Bowl advertisement, the latest trailer focuses more on exciting action sequences, alien encounters, and a bigger, more expansive story set in space.
An all-new poster featuring the “Clan of Two” was also released alongside the trailer. Watch below.

Hutts, New Republic, and Familiar Faces
The trailer wastes no time showing scale.
Now that the Empire has collapsed, various Imperial leaders are still operating throughout the galaxy. The newly formed New Republic is working to maintain peace and has asked Din Djarin and Grogu to assist in safeguarding the freedom the Rebellion achieved.
The latest look at the Star Wars universe reveals more about the Hutts, including a glimpse of Jeremy Allen White as the Hutt Rotta. We also see Zeb Orrelios now working as a pilot for the New Republic, a Kyuzo bounty hunter, and the small, energetic Anzellans. Plus, the galaxy is filled with many other unique alien species.
A key scene shows Mando without his helmet, leaving viewers wondering what will happen to him next.
Martin Scorsese in Star Wars?
Around the 20-second mark in the trailer, you’ll hear a distinctive alien voice – and it’s actually legendary director Martin Scorsese doing the voice work.
Martin Scorsese plays an Ardennian, a furry, four-armed alien who owns a shop. His character attempts to end a conversation with Din Djarin (Mando), who is trying to find information about a Hutt.
Release info
Jon Favreau directed the film, which features Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward, and Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt.
May 22, 2026, only in theaters.
