THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU Super Bowl Trailer Gives Christmas Card

The new trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu features a heartwarming scene of Din Djarin and Grogu setting off on an adventure with some Tauntauns. As Sam Elliott’s voiceover says, sometimes life leads us down unexpected paths, but we persevere, driven by something greater. The trailer is incredibly sweet and evokes the feeling of a classic Christmas card – a genuinely touching glimpse into their journey and a reminder of the unbreakable bond between them.

We’re guessing the full The Mandalorian and Grogu movie won’t quite capture the same cuteness as the Super Bowl trailer. Here’s the official description of the movie from Lucasfilm:

With the defeat of the Empire, its former commanders are now spread across the galaxy. The newly formed New Republic is trying to safeguard the ideals of the Rebellion, and they’ve turned to Din Djarin, a famous Mandalorian bounty hunter (played by Pedro Pascal), and his young protégé, Grogu, for help. Jon Favreau directs this installment of Star Wars, titled The Mandalorian & Grogu, which also features Sigourney Weaver. Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce produce, and Ludwig Göransson composed the music.

The upcoming movie, The Mandalorian and Grogu, appears to be full of classic Star Wars elements, judging by the recent trailer and previous previews. It has a lot going for it! Sigourney Weaver, known for Aliens, plays a leader in the New Republic, and Jeremy Allen White takes on the role of a grown-up Rotta the Hutt, a character from The Clone Wars. We’re also seeing the return of Zeb from Rebels. Plus, the movie seems to be revisiting the icy planet Hoth – or at least a very similar snowy world with AT-ATs. And fans will be happy to see more of the adorable creatures from The Rise of Skywalker who were created by Babu Frik.

Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian and Grogu will be in cinemas on May 22nd. If you’re eager to revisit Din Djarin and Grogu’s journey, all three seasons of The Mandalorian are currently available on Disney+. But before you do, make sure you’ve seen the cute trailer that aired during the Super Bowl!
