Yet, there’s a silver lining on The Last of Us season two, episode four – some rays of hope appear more frequently than before in the series. However, their longevity seems doubtful. Regardless, we’ll relish these moments as long as they last. Here are all the latest discoveries and uncertainties arising from The Last of Us season two, episode four.
New Revelations From The Last of Us Season 2, Episode 4
Ex-FEDRA Isaac Leads the W.L.F. in Seattle
In the fourth episode of season two of “The Last of Us”, we are introduced to the head of the W.L.F., named Isaac. Previously, his existence had been briefly mentioned – Abby’s acquaintances spoke about him running a small group of Fireflies in Seattle. In this episode, we learn that Isaac abandoned FEDRA through a flashback, but it leaves us questioning if he’s any less problematic than that organization. Abby claims that Isaac won’t attack innocent people, yet his actions toward a captured Seraphite seem questionable, as he appears to be torturing him with a Mauviel pan. He justifies this by stating the Seraphite brought it upon himself… At present, we don’t know much more about Isaac, but his crew seems to be ruthless and bloodthirsty.
Dina finds out Ellie Is Immune
Ellie and Dina find themselves in a predicament as they delve into a structure belonging to the W.L.F. To evade the wolves, they seek refuge within an abandoned subway station in Seattle. However, their sanctuary turns out to be a lair of Infected beings. As they strive to avoid danger, Ellie heroically shields Dina from an Infected’s attack by placing her arm between them. Though they manage to flee, Dina fears that Ellie has been contaminated and must perish as a result.
At last, I revealed my unique immunity to someone else, confiding in Dina about my special status. Skeptical yet intrigued, she decided to spend the night with me. As the sun rose and it became clear that I was indeed immune, our bond deepened and transformed into something more profound.
We Learn Dina Is Pregnant
After Ellie confesses her secret and it proves true, Dina confesses one of her own…
Lo and behold! You won’t believe it, but Dina isn’t merely getting queasy at the sight of each corpse she encounters. In fact, she’s expecting a new arrival. She lets Ellie in on this secret, explaining that her nausea was quite telling, and she had also missed her period for quite some time. To put everyone’s mind at ease, Dina even went ahead and took numerous pregnancy tests to confirm the news.
Jesse is the child’s biological father, yet Ellie too shares a sense of fatherhood. It appears everyone is quite thrilled at the moment. We can only anticipate whether these positive emotions will endure…
Ellie and Dina Finally Get Together
After numerous heartfelt confessions, the moment for affectionate kisses has arrived! With their long-awaited reunion, Ellie and Dina bridge the gap between them, embracing passionately as they express their hidden emotions. Dina discloses that when she believed Ellie might perish, it felt as though she had lost a future she’d envisioned with Ellie and their offspring. She explains her attraction to both men and women, admitting that societal pressures made her pretend to only desire what was considered “normal.” This is the reason why it took her so long to acknowledge her romantic feelings for Ellie, despite knowing that Ellie reciprocated them.
Absolutely, Ellie expresses her desire to establish a relationship with Dina as well. It’s delightful to witness their journey towards each other. Here’s hoping their bond will stand the test of time.
The Scars and the W.L.F. Seem Equally Bad
Initially, it appeared as though the Scars/Seraphites were blameless in contrast to the aggressive W.L.F., but it’s now clear that no one is truly without blemish. In episode four of The Last of Us season two, we witness the Scars launching a brutal assault against the W.L.F., even going so far as to ceremonially execute and disembowel members, causing their intestines to spill out – quite a shocking sight!
Dina and Ellie Find Abby’s Friend Nora at the End of The Last of Us Season 2, Episode 4
Dina and Ellie are enjoying their fresh relationship when a call comes in over a walkie-talkie. On the other end, they hear that one of Abby’s Fireflies team members, Nora, is at Lake Hill. They believe she might be able to help them locate Abby. However, there’s a hitch: Lake Hill lies in the midst of an actual war zone.
New Questions From The Last of Us Season 2, Episode 4
Why Are the W.L.F. and the Seraphites Even Fighting?
It appears that the W.L.F. and the Seraphites are engaged in a significant conflict, yet it remains unclear what the underlying cause of this war might be. In a scene involving Isaac, there seems to be a reference to a broken peace treaty and recurring violence, but it seems as though at this stage, combat has become an end in itself for both parties. If you could shed light on why the W.L.F. and Seraphites are at odds, it would be much appreciated.
Will Abby Be at the Location of Her Friend Nora?
Nora, Abby’s friend, is currently in Seattle. So far, we haven’t received any updates regarding Abby herself. Is it justified for Ellie to risk crossing a dangerous conflict zone to locate Abby’s teammate? It seems that Ellie is convinced it is. However, will she find Abby there or merely encounter more difficulties instead?
The Last of Us airs Sundays at 9pm on Max and HBO.
